Large-format pharmaceutical production machines, often spanning 200 to 300 feet, involve complex setup, operation, and preventive maintenance procedures that require extensive operator training. Traditional onboarding relies on manuals, classroom sessions, and expert-led demonstrations on live equipment, making training difficult to schedule, expensive to scale, and inconsistent across customer locations.
ACG needed a standardized solution that could accompany every machine delivered, allowing customer operators to build confidence, master procedures, and achieve operational readiness without depending on continuous support from field specialists.
Spatio developed a VR Machine Training Simulator, enabling operators to master setup, operation, and maintenance before working on live production equipment.
The simulator recreates ACG’s large-format pharmaceutical machines as true-to-scale virtual replicas, allowing operators to learn complete setup, operation, and maintenance procedures in an immersive environment. Long and complex workflows are divided into focused learning modules, enabling trainees to build competency step by step through guided practice and objective assessments.
