The Challenge
Hand injuries are among the most common and preventable incidents in shipyards. Repetitive tasks, rotating machinery, sharp tools, and PPE neglect often lead to avoidable accidents. The client needed a scalable solution that could build hazard awareness, reinforce protective equipment usage, and allow workers to practice safe decision-making in a controlled environment.
Spatio built a Hand Injury VR Safety Simulator, equipping shipyard workers to recognize risks, choose proper PPE, and prevent injuries.
Spatio, in collaboration with the client, developed a Hand Injury VR Safety Training Simulator designed to build hazard awareness, strengthen PPE usage, and reduce unsafe practices through immersive 3D scenarios. Workers encounter high-risk environments, make safety-critical decisions, and receive real-time feedback that reinforces proper behavior.
The training supports multiple languages and integrates seamlessly with the client’s LMS, ensuring compliance, tracking progress, and improving long-term workforce safety.
